Stock Spirits Group has landed its first UK supermarket listing for Sierra’s ready-to-drink tequila cocktails, with Morrisons set to stock two flavours from 7 September. The 250ml cans of Sierra Grapefruit Paloma and Sierra Lime Margarita will be sold in 460 stores at £2.60 each, and will also feature in Morrisons’ standard multi-buy promotion on RTDs. The move gives Sierra a broader route into grocery after earlier limited availability through smaller outlets and online platforms.

Rob Curteis, managing director of Stock Spirits’ UK distributor The Drinks Company, said the launch reflects rising consumer interest in Paloma and Margarita serves. He also pointed to the distinctive can design and the use of Sierra Tequila Blanco in the cocktails, adding that the brand’s debut at Brighton’s On the Beach festival was well received and helped pave the way for the Morrisons rollout.

The supermarket listing is a notable step for Sierra’s RTD range, which Stock Spirits introduced in 2025 as part of a wider multi-market push. Alongside the Morrisons launch, Sierra’s RTDs have appeared through retailers including WHSmith, Amazon and GoPuff, while the brand’s tequila business in the UK has been brought under Stock Spirits’ direct control following the company’s acquisition of The Drinks Company last year.

The timing also underlines the strength of tequila-led premixed drinks in the UK. The Grocer has reported sharp growth in value sales across the category over the past year, suggesting that supermarkets are increasingly willing to expand shelf space for tequila cocktails. For Stock Spirits, the Morrisons deal fits a broader ambition to build a stronger European spirits business by 2027.
